christmas isnt complete without christ, its just..... mas. what sense is there in that?

Happy Birthday Jesus! you've been an awesome friend, an awesome saviour, thank you for being my favourite listening ear. im sorry for the times i've had countless unreasonable logics, said sorry and then failed you again some time after. i think i must have stabbed your heart many, many times. yet you still love me unconditionally, you still reach out to me, you still listen to me, you're still always, always there.

2008 has been an awesome year for me. and if it wasn't for you, i wouldnt have been able to tide through O's giving my best. if it wasnt for you, i wouldnt have been able to had a fabulous caregroup and friends to spur me on. if it wasnt for you, i cant imagine what kind of life i'd be living today. i'd probably be as insecure as ever, paranoid as my friends used to call me, probably still be that schoolgirl who obeyed all the school rules and tucked in my blouse till my waistband could be seen. otherwise, i'd be someone who would succumb to peer pressure easily, seeking approval and praises desperately, never having the confidence to make decisions on my own in fear of criticism from others. if it wasn't because i learnt how to relate to people, i'd probably still be afraid to talk to people who are louder than me, i'd probably still just be really insecure.

if it wasn't for you, i dunno how it'd be able to tide through certain family issues. thank you for the friends you've placed in my life to encourage me, to ensure that i make it safely across the bridge. thank you very much for everything.
